What ages do you treat?
What are your areas of expertise?
BDSM (Kink), polyamory, sexual dysfunction, and trauma.
How often do sessions take place?
Patients are normally seen at least once weekly. This is done so that you can begin to address issues immediately and work toward relief.
How long will I need to keep coming to therapy?
This is individual and depends entirely upon your particular situation. Therapy should neither end too quickly nor be without end.
How much do sessions cost?
All sessions are $165.
Do you offer a sliding scale?
Yes, though this is done on a very limited basis. Please talk to me about this when making your first appointment, and I can let you know if you qualify.
Do you accept insurance?
Yes, I am in-network with BCBS North Carolina.
What if you aren't in-network with my insurance company?
I will provide you with a statement of services so you can file for reimbursement. Check your benefits for out-of-network coverage.
Can I bring spouses, children, or other relatives to my sessions?
Therapy is a time for YOU. A time for you to talk about your struggles, difficulties, issues, feelings, and life. Sometimes, that means that might mean that you decide to invite your spouse, partner, or parent into a session for a therapeutic reason. If this is the case, then that's something we'll discuss beforehand. As a general rule, children are not allowed in sessions. There are many things that are said in sessions which are not appropriate for little ears, and you shouldn't have to censor yourself during your time. Children also are not allowed to be left in the waiting room. Appropriate child care should be arranged.
What if I bring my child to a session anyway?
I will remind you of the above policy, we'll have to reschedule, and you will be charged a cancellation fee.
